I apologize to my blog followers for the lack of posts. I had a baby girl, Emma Magnolia, in September. I have been busy taking pictures of her. I am even going to buy a new point and shoot camera, the Panasonic Lumix LX5 with a 2.0 Leica lens.
While I would love to carry my Canon 5d around on my walks with Emma and Buster the pug, I realize this just isn’t practical. And hey, any excuse to buy a new camera is a good excuse, right? Enjoy this photo of Emma. I am starting to take photo jobs again. so check back soon for updates!
What luck! We had beautiful weather for Mike and Sarah’s photos in APRIL! They were not shy about having their photo taken and we had a blast. We took advantage of the trees in full bloom at the park. Sarah and Mike are an adventurous, sweet couple and I am so glad to have been their wedding photographer. Their wedding was the beginning of a great journey together…
While on assignment, I got the opportunity to travel to beautiful Florence, OR. I visited the Sea Lion Caves…it’s like being in “The Goonies” but with a bunch of sea lions…
Lisa and John own Yulan Studios where they design and write content for websites. I love their work and recently had a chance to work on a project with them that involved one of our favorite things, hiking through the woods to take photos! They wanted some new head shots for their website. They came into the studio and voila… new portraits.
Eila is a fun, energetic, adorable little bundle of love. And a little bear : ) I took these photos in studio.
I love when the bride and groom have a lot of bridesmaids and groomsmen. It helps create a fun atmosphere and there are beautiful people all around. As always in Portland, the weather at October weddings can be a gamble. This date was an incredible, winning bet!!! It rained all day Saturday and Sunday morning, but just as I began taking pictures, the rain stopped. And the sun came out just in time for Ariel’s bridal portrait, it could not have been more perfect. I love the colors in this wedding and the creative floral arrangements! Ariel and Noah make a great couple, you can tell they really, really love each other. All the best to you both!!!
Atsuko and Justin are a very sweet, adorable couple. They asked me to take some photos of them for nostalgic reasons. They were moving to Pennsylvania and wanted to have photos of themselves taken at Laurelhurst Park. They had spent a lot of time together at Laurelhurst and wanted to have photos to remind them of their time there.
