In their recent issue, Oregon Bride Magazine wrote an article about the cool spots to get married in/near Salem, OR. One location, Zenith Vineyards, is absolutely beautiful. My fabulous clients, Amy and Sloan were married there over the summer. Oregon Bride Magazine featured one of my photos as an opener to the article. Recently, I created a series of portraits for a company here in Portland. Their landscaping is beautiful and there is bamboo all around. I love the way the bamboo leaves look in the background of these portraits.

I photographed Oscar and Pearl in studio over the weekend. We had fun and both of them were so cooperative! I love how much Oscar loves his sister.

Kevin and Alalia’s wedding was too fun to photograph. Their friend lent them a vintage tandem bicycle for their wedding day so they rode it around it around for their photographs. I think I was more nervous about Alalia’s dress getting dirty than she was! There was so much love and beauty at this wedding- I left there that evening feeling so lucky to have such an incredible job…
Tina and Mark had a lovely, intimate ceremony at the Rose Garden. The getting ready shots are so fun and filled with emotion. Tina looked absolutely amazing in her modern, stylish wedding dress. Her hair and makeup (done by katherine ross) completed her look perfectly. After the ceremony, the party moved on to Pier Park where I love to take photographs because the trees are tall and the light is always pretty. I feel so lucky to have been there to witness this event, which was truly filled with love.
